Nails Nails Nails....

I've been into nails, and doing nail patterns/designs on my own nails and practised doing patterns on my sisters and a few of my friends nails. My favourite design I love doing is polka dots, they are simple to do and look cute on nails. the recent design I have done is by doing roses, this design is not do complicated but it's bit time consuming to do. The rose design below, I got inspired by Cath Kidstons own patterns on her products.

Also recently I've bought loads of nail polishes to add to my nail polish collection. I've stocked up on polishes but I feel like I need to buy some more. the polishes i purchased were OPI, Essie, Ciaté. I got them cheap as I didn't spend much on them. I got four OPI colours the bottles were each £3.99 which i thought was a bargain as normally each bottle would cost around £13 each, and I got three 3 Essie polishes which cost £1.99 each the normal cost of this bottle would be around £8. below I've tried the colours on a nail wheel:

Product Review #1...

Yesterday I purchased the new BarryM nail polish effects; the Gelly nail paint and the textured nail paint. I tried the gelly nail paint on my nails, I quite liked the look of it on my nails. the best thing about it is that is dries very quick and you only need one coat but I used two, you can use have many coats to your liking, also you dont need to use a topcaot as its chip resistant and it gives an extra glossy look compared to a normal nail polish. I'm satisfied with this product and I may purchase more colours form this range.

Pure London...

So, last monday I went to Pure London, which was at Kensington Olympia. It was a good event and I really enjoyed it even though my feet did kill after walking around for hours. well anyways its a trade fair event where up incoming designers showcase their design to buyers and press people. I seen WGSN trend forecast for Autumn/ Winter 2013.

I had also gone to another seminar which was quite interesting it was about ' A window display masterclass & tip from Selfridges' By James (sorry cant remember the last name) but he's one of the people who is a Visual Merchandiser at Selfridges. he had shown us the construction of the windows and how long it takes and how long they have to do it. Below there's window display when they had done it for the queens jubilee.

I had also gone to a women wears catwalk which was really good, seen a few outfits that I adored. I have taken a few images from the fashion show they aren't that good as some of them are a bit blurry

Monochrome...

Looking at the trends for this season I quite like the trend of Monochrome. the use of black and white makes it look simple yet its the two colours that always work well together and the two colours I love trying out as it goes so well together. By looking on Vogue fashion tends page I saw that a few designers have been influenced by this trend either by creating wonderful garments with square or checkerboard prints to stripes. heres what I've picked that is my favourite from the catwalks:

My life...

So for my first blog I thought I'd post something that relates to me, my life and whose a part of it. here is an overview of  the people who are part of my life, some I've known my whole life, some I've known for a few year and some I've only just met. I've had wonderful memories, where there has been up and downs in my life which will still be a memorable moments of my life.  I do wonder where al the years have gone as it goes by very quick and you don't notice it until you think back at it. So to finish of this post I'd like to say i am so proud and happy to have found these people to be part of my life as their the ones who inspire motivate me through my day to day basis and will do in the years ahead.
